InsuranceRegistration fees do not include insurance of any kind. If attending a live site you are responsible to obtain your own insurance to cover medical, travel, and registration expenses etc. In most instances if attending in a professional capacity, your workplace can provide insurance advice. In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, ACHPER Victoria accepts no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by you. ACHPER Victoria accepts no liability for injuries/losses of whatever nature incurred by you and/or people with you, or for loss or damage to your luggage and/or personal belongings. ACHPER Victoria cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This Insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
DisclaimerThe program is correct at the time of printing, but ACHPER Victoria reserves the right to alter the program as necessary and will not accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes. ACHPER Victoria reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the event for promotional, advertising or reporting of the event and/or its content at their sole discretion.
Where content is delivered by independent presenters, ACHPER Victoria does not accept liability for advice given, or views expressed. Delegates are encouraged to participate in practical sessions however it is up to the discretion of each delegate to do so, subject to pre–existing injuries, heat etc. If you do have a pre–existing injury, please advise your presenter before commencing the session.
Force MajeureACHPER Victoria will not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the event where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause. In this clause, Force Majeure means circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of ACHPER Victoria and which are reasonably likely to affect the successful delivery of the Event or would make it inadvisable, impracticable, illegal, or impossible for a party to perform its obligations as originally contracted under this Agreement, including: fire, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, collapse of building structures, widespread disease or other public health emergency (including pandemic or epidemic), strike or other industrial action, the outbreak or declaration of war, act of terrorism, revolution or government orders or action (including the declaration of a State of Emergency).
If, as a result of Force Majeure, ACHPER Victoria cancels the Event/s, ACHPER Victoria shall use reasonable commercial endeavours to reschedule the Event or provide alternative virtual viewing. If ACHPER Victoria is unable to reschedule the Event in accordance, delegates will be issued with a non-transferable credit note for the amount of the Fee, which may be redeemed against any appropriate future ACHPER Victoria event for a period of 12 months from the date of issue. Without prejudice to its obligations ACHPER Victoria accepts no liability and will not be liable for any compensation where the performance of its obligations under this Agreement is affected by Force Majeure.
Imagery / Footage By participating in this event you acknowledge and agree to grant ACHPER Victoria the right to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture you in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you.
If you do not wish to be included in photography, please advise us prior to, or in person at an event.
Events Code of Conduct Our event will present opportunities to learn, share knowledge and network. We believe the event should represent a safe, enjoyable and inclusive environment for all people, irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexuality, religion, disability, socio-economic background, experience, size, shape and so on. No one should be subject to any harassment, bullying or abuse. Any such behaviour will not be tolerated and we will take such action as we deem necessary to ensure it does not reoccur. This may include immediate removal from the virtual/hybrid event and a prohibition from attending future events held by ACHPER Victoria. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change. By registering for an ACHPER Victoria event, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions.
